The Managing Director Of Oil and Gas Free Zones Authority,Bamanga Jada Usman has promised to rebrand the Authority to resonate with the multinational stakeholders and reflect the country’s global ambition.
He made this declaration when he took over the reins of leadership of OGFZA from Sen. Tijjani Yahaya Kaura,MFR yesterday.
According to the Managing Director, considering the Authority’s positioning in the oil and gas sector catering predominantly to an international clientele warrants advancements tailored to their needs.
”Recognizing this, I am committed to introducing offshore banking services, ensuring seamless 24/7 international financial transactions, further cementing our position as a key global player in the industry”,the Managing Director assured.
He emphasized that a pivotal aspect of his rebranding mission will be the “ establishment of foreign investment offices overseas, ensuring that potential investors have immediate access to us and fostering smoother coordination and correspondence “.
Bamanga Usman who declared his determination to champion the establishment of Oil and Gas Free Zones in every state of Nigeria, both oil Producing and non oil producing, hinged his approach to rebranding task of OGFZA on seven-point dimensions namely:efficiency and trust, infrastructure excellence, regulatory modernization, local content empowerment, sustainability and resilience.Others are; investor focus and finally, but not the least, welfare.
Bamanga Jada Usman holds a Master’s degree in Oil and Gas Operations Management and an MBA in Marketing.He is one of the appointees Of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR in the new leadership across the Industry, Trade and Investment sectors.
