Nigeria marks National Day at Expo 2020 Dubai

As today marks Nigeria’s National day at the World Expo – “Expo 2020 Dubai” currently ongoing in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Nigeria is hosting the world to cultural performances, a musical concert, bilateral meetings, and presentations.

This year’s World Expo is the first to be hosted in the Middle East and is also the first in the history of World Expos with each participating country having a pavilion to itself.

At Nigeria’s pavilion dubbed ‘Opportunity City’, visitors get the opportunity to experience Nigeria’s uniqueness in arts and culture, entrepreneurship, technology; and Nigeria’s products and exports via an engaging and interactive exhibition located in streets called Resilience Avenue, Respectful Avenue, Hardworking Avenue and Enterprising Avenue at the Expo city.

Tomorrow, Saturday, 4 December 2021, Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) would host investors and Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari at the Nigerian Trade and Investment Forum (NTIF) taking place at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Sheikh Zayed Road.

President Buhari is the special guest of honour at the forum which will have in attendance top government functionaries including Ministers, Governors, heads of departments and agencies make presentations and interacting with entrepreneurs, innovators and investors from across the world on Nigeria’s policy thrust, economic agenda and investment opportunities.

NIPC’s Ag. Executive Secretary/CEO, Mr Emeka Offor will make a presentation on “Unveiling Investment Opportunities in Nigeria”.

The NTIF is organised by NIPC in partnership with the Nigerian – Arabian Gulf Chamber of Commerce (NAGCC) under the supervision of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment.
