INEC Fails To Start Voting At Scheduled Time As Voters Turn Out In Large Numbers

Election failed to commence at the time scheduled for the exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at various parts of the country.

Findings revealed that elections failed to start at 8:30am as announced by the commission.

It was observes in various parts of the locations monitored in Abuja that INEC officials and election materials did not arrive at most polling unit till around 8:50am.

Unlike previous elections that experienced low voter turnout, many Nigerians came out in their large numbers to observe the elections.

Some of the polling units that had large voter turnout are Old Government Secondary School, Government Staff Quarters Staff among others.
