NESG Appoints Eight Board Members

Nigerian Economic Summit Group has announced the appointment of eight new members into its board of directors. In a blog post, NESG noted that the appointments were made at its 2021 Annual General Meeting held on Tuesday.


The group listed the newly appointed members to be Managing Partner, Sahel Consulting Agriculture & Nutrition Ltd and Founder, Leap Africa, Ndidi Nwuneli; Group Chief Executive Officer, MRS Holdings Ltd, Amina Maina; and CEO, Total E & P Limited, Mike Sangster.


Other appointed board members are CEO, Flour Mills Nigeria Plc, Omoboyede Olusanya, MD/CEO, Nestlé Nigeria Plc, Wassim El-Husseini; CEO, MTN Nigeria, Karl Toriola; Managing Partner, Agon Continental Ltd, Nnanna Ude, and Managing Partner, Wizer Group, Lanre Akinbo.


These appointments bring the total number of board members to 22 directors, among which Osagie Okunbor is the new second Vice-Chair. At the same time, Kyari Bukar, has been re-appointed to the board.


The Chairman of the NESG Board of Directors, Asue Ighodalo, expressed his appreciation to everyone for their commitment in the national interest and charged members to remain steadfast, innovative and resilient in these challenging times.
