These were the words used by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Oil and Gas Free Zones Authority (OGFZA), Bamanga Usman Jada to laud the Liberty Oil and Gas Free Zone (LOGFZ) for its compliance to Nigeria’s Free Zone scheme.
In a statement issued by Assistant General Manager,Corporate Communications,Golda Ukomadu,the Managing Director said substituting import with export demonstrates that LOGFZ is operating in line with President Tinubu’s economic agenda.
The Managing Director was on maiden visit to the free zone on a familiarization tour of the zone on Tuesday, 20th November 2023 which coincidentally commemorates the 3rd anniversary of the zone.
Speaking at a meeting, the Managing Director of Sterling Petrochemical and Fertilizers under LOGFZ, Nittin Shah made his welcome remarks with nostalgic references from the very start and the first meetings with some of the key personnel of the government agencies during the establishment of the zone.
In a presentation on the zone and its projects which majorly exploited the gas value chain with different companies, Nittin Shah emphasized the global viability of gas in various forms and the economic gains that would accrue to the zone and Nigeria at large.
Congratulating the management of Liberty OGFZ on its third anniversary, the helmsman of OGFZA, Bamanga Jada lauded them for the level of development and progress made thus far at the zone.
He assured the investors of the Authority’s commitment to provide a conducive business environment for free zone entreprises as well as the full support of the supervisory Minister, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite to ensure the success of the nation’s Oil and Gas Free Zones.
