NIRSAL MFB cries out over fake recruiting

NIRSAL Microfinance Bank (NMFB) has cried out that fraudsters are scamming unsuspecting Nigerians of their money with promise to get them employment in the bank.

Spokesperson for NMFB Hajia Halimatu Lawal in a statement issued in Abuja said the bank has been inundated with calls and visits from members of the public that have fallen victim to the fraudsters.

According to her, “the Management of NIRSAL Microfinance Bank Limited is aware that some suspected fraudsters have been issuing spurious letters of employment to unsuspecting members of the public in exchange for pecuniary benefits”.

She warned members of the public “to cease and desist from issuing any financial or non-financial consideration to any person(s) whomsoever, in exchange for purported employment with the bank”.

NIRSAL Microfinance Bank Limited she said would” never request for payment of any fees, commission or other financial commitment by whatsoever description from prospective employees”.

NMFB’s employment process she added “is open, transparent and in accordance with recognized best industry practices”.
