Inauguration: Ndoma-Egba congratulates Tinubu and Bassey Otu

Former Senate Leader and ex-Chairman Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, has congratulated the newly inaugurated President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Governor of Cross River State, Governor Bassey Otu on their assumption of office.

Ndoma-Egba, in a statement to congratulate Tinubu and Otu, said there are better days ahead for Nigeria with the new President, while also expressing confidence that the new Cross River Governor will transform the state for the betterment of the people.

The statement reads: “In this season of celebration, I and my entire family, celebrate with you Senator Bassey Edet Otu today (Monday) as you are sworn in as the Executive Governor of Cross River State. Your inauguration today has confirmed your victory at the recently concluded gubernatorial election across the nation.

“Once again I say, congratulations as you begin the journey at the Leopard Road Governors Office, Calabar. It was a well deserved victory for all Cross Riverians who voted for the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the polls.

“Therefore, it is my fervent prayer that God should grant you the wisdom to govern well and bring the dividend of democracy to the people of Cross River State who are hungry for a good Government. Congratulations!

“Still on the same page, I humbly join Nigerians both at home and abroad to celebrate with Mr. President, Senator Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as takes his oath as President of this great nation, called Nigeria.
“It is a well deserved victory. Congratulations Mr. President, Congratulations All Progressives Congress, Congratulations Nigerians!

“The expectations are high. It’s indeed a big task. But certainly with the support of all Nigerians Mr. President will succeed in taking the country to greater heights. He would have to take some tough decisions like he has just done with the issue of fuel subsidy. I believe that everything will work out for good under Tinubu’s watch.”
