The Oil and Gas Free Zones Authority (OGFZA), has been awarded the “Best Federal MDA for Ease of Doing Business Automation.”
The award was presented to the Managing Director/CEO of the Authority, Bamanga Usman Jada by the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), during an Award ceremony which held in Abuja, on the 11th October, 2024, after a 2-day conference with the theme “Digital Innovations as a Catalyst for the Renewed Hope Agenda.”
According to the Director-General of BPSR, Mr. Dasuki Arabi, who presented the award, the Authority earned this prestigious award following a nationwide nomination and online voting process conducted across various media platforms.
In addition, the OGFZA boss, who was represented by the Authority’s Legal Adviser and General Manager/Head of the Legal Department, Barr. Obi Agusiobo, also bagged the “Distinguished GovTech Trailblazer’s award” in acknowledgment of his outstanding leadership in advancing GovTech initiatives and digital governance within the Authority, which has contributed significantly to the Federal Government’s digital transformation agenda in the public sector.
