A former governor of Kaduna State in the Second Republic, Balarabe Musa, has died at the age of 84.
His political associate, Shehu Sani, confirmed the death, saying he died on Wednesday around 9:30am at his Aliyu Turaki Road residence at Anguwan Sarki, Kaduna.
DAILY NIGERIAN, quoted Mr Sani described the deceased, in a statement, as the best governor of Kaduna State.
He added that he was one of the few politicians acquitted of wrongdoing by the military junta of Major General Muhammadu Buhari.
The late politician recently resigned as chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Redemption Party, PRP, due to failing health.
