
Nigeria and US have signed a memorandum of understanding on Commercial and Investment partnership.
The Hon. Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Doris Uzoka-Anite disclosed this on her instagram account.
According to the Minister, the agreement, which was signed with US Secretary of Commerce, Dina Raimondo, during a sideline meeting of AGOA 2024 Forum in Washington DC,was a result of months of dedicated work on both sides which marks” a significant step forward in deepening bilateral commercial and investment ties between Nigeria and the United States “.
Dr Doris Uzoka-Anite revealed that the key areas of the agreement include:

The Hon.Minister reiterated the commitment of President Bola Tinubu administration to create an enabling environment for businesses, facilitating private sector-led initiatives and achieving mutually beneficial trade and investment relationships.
